Watershed Stewards Program

The Watershed Stewards Program is part of Anne Arundel County’s effort to improve local water quality and support healthy shoreline and watershed conditions.

This program trains and supports community leaders who help promote sustainable landscaping practices, environmental education, and local restoration efforts.

About the Program

The Watershed Stewards Academy envisions every community in Anne Arundel County actively engaged in ensuring a healthy environment for all.

Its mission is to train and mobilize community leaders to drive positive environmental change through sustainable practices and community-based projects.

Riviera Beach Participation

Riviera Beach participates in watershed stewardship efforts through local volunteers and community leadership.
